About the Role:Veritas Environmental Services LLC is looking for a dedicated Janitorial Assistant to join our evening cleaning crew in Winston-Salem, NC! This is a great opportunity to be part of a hardworking team that takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. If you enjoy hands-on work and a consistent evening schedule, we want to hear from you! 5pm to 10pm Monday thru friday
Responsibilities:- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility
- Wipe down surfaces, windows, and fixtures to maintain a polished appearance
- Restock janitorial supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow proper handling and storage procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
Requirements:- Prior janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work evening hours on a consistent schedule
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety protocols preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
