Schedule: Monday-Friday (No Weekends)

About the Role

St. Moritz Building Services, Inc. is hiring an experienced Area Manager - Janitorial / Facilities Management to oversee commercial cleaning operations across multiple client sites in the Columbus market.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in janitorial management, custodial supervision, and commercial facility maintenance who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead janitorial staff and custodial teams across multiple locations
  • Manage commercial cleaning operations, including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning
  • Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, SOPs, and quality control standards
  • Perform site inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Maintain strong client relationships and respond to service requests
  • Oversee inventory, equipment, and supply management
  • Train staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and OSHA compliance
  • Drive team performance, accountability, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of janitorial management, custodial supervision, or facilities management experience
  • Experience in commercial office cleaning environments
  • Proven leadership experience managing cleaning crews or porters
  • Knowledge of floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning techniques
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures, chemical handling, and equipment use
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple job sites
  • Valid driver's license (required)
