Job Summary
Employnet is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout our production facility, warehouse, offices, and common areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows sanitation procedures, and contributes to maintaining food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and warehouse spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using industrial cleaning equipment.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Restock restroom and janitorial supplies as needed.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Respond promptly to spills and maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Assist with cleaning production equipment and workstations during scheduled sanitation periods.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety regulations, and OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain janitorial equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform additional cleaning and facility maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
