This is an on-site position in Riverhead. Before applying, please confirm that you can reliably commute to this location six evenings per week.


Work Schedule


Approximately 15 hours per week:

• Monday through Saturday

Job Summary


We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to join our cleaning team at Riverhead. The right person will be reliable, detail-oriented, and proud of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.


This position involves working independently, so you must be a self-starter who can manage your time, follow a cleaning checklist, and complete all assigned duties without constant supervision. Most importantly, we need someone we can count on to arrive on time for every scheduled shift.


Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dealership
  
  
• Vacuum carpets and showroom areas
  
  
• Sweep and mop floors
  
  
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
  
  
• Dust and wipe down desks, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
  
  
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners
  
  
• Clean interior glass, entrance doors, and windows as assigned
  
  
• Refill soap, paper products, and restroom supplies
  
  
• Clean spills and address potential safety hazards promptly
  
  
• Use cleaning products, supplies, and equipment properly
  
  
• Follow the assigned cleaning checklist
  
  
• Notify management when supplies are running low or repairs are needed
  
  
• Secure designated areas after cleaning is complete
  
  
• Complete all assigned work within the scheduled shift
  
  

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred
  
  
• Reliable transportation to and from Riverhead is required
  
  
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
  
  
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule
  
  
• Able to work independently without direct supervision
  
  
• Familiarity with common cleaning products and equipment
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  
  
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift cleaning supplies
  
  
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  
  
• Trustworthy and respectful of the building and its occupants
