Emish Restaurant is a Ukrainian and European restaurant located in Federal Way, WA. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Janitor / Restaurant Cleaner to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our guests and employees.The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and is able to complete cleaning tasks efficiently while following safety and sanitation procedures.What You'll DoClean and maintain restaurant dining areas, restrooms, kitchen areas, and other assigned spacesSweep, mop, and vacuum floorsClean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, and other surfacesClean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, and other restroom areasEmpty garbage and recycling containersReplace garbage bags and maintain clean waste areasClean windows, doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces as neededDust and clean furniture, fixtures, and other surfacesClean and sanitize high-touch areas regularlyAssist with deep cleaning of restaurant areas and equipmentClean spills and other messes promptly and safelyUse cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructionsProperly store cleaning supplies and equipmentMonitor cleaning and supply levels and communicate when supplies need to be replenishedFollow all health, safety, and sanitation proceduresMaintain cleaning equipment in good conditionHelp maintain a safe and pleasant environment for guests and employeesAssist restaurant staff with additional cleaning tasks when neededComplete opening and closing cleaning duties as assignedWork independently and manage assigned cleaning responsibilities efficientlyWork Schedule: Full-time or part-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview.
