Janitor

Haley Auto Group is looking for a janitor. As a Janitor, you would be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including tasks like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms, while adhering to safety protocols and reporting any maintenance issues.

Responsibilities:

• General Area Cleaning:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

• Dusting surfaces and equipment.

• Cleaning windows and glass surfaces.

• Emptying trash and recycling bins.

• Cleaning restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.

• Maintenance and Organization:

• Ensuring the shop is tidy and organized.

• Stocking cleaning supplies.

• Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

• Safety:

• Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.

• Using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.

• Other Duties:

• May be required to assist with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

• Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance is a plus.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

• Skills:

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is a plus.

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
