Custodian/Janitor– 1st Shift | Local School District

This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to be hired by the school district and receive an excellent benefits package.
Pay and Schedule
**Pay:
**Starting at$18.00-$21.00/hr, based on experience
**Shift:
** Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-3:00PM
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash
Maintain building entrances, sidewalks, and exterior grounds
Shovel snow and remove debris to keep walkways safe
Report maintenance or safety concerns
Complete additional custodial duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license required
Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
Comfortable working around students, staff, and the public
Ability to lift 25-35 pounds and perform frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and standing throughout the shift
