Job Description:
As a Common Area Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and hygiene of a local condominium building. You will focus on high-traffic common areas such as the lobby, hallways, elevators, and main entrances to ensure a welcoming environment for all residents and guests. This is a part-time morning position with the direct opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
Clean, sweep, mop, and vacuum lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and elevators
Empty trash cans and recyclables, ensuring proper disposal in dumpster areas
Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including door handles, elevator buttons, and handrails
Keep the main outdoor entrances, walkways, and glass doors clean and presentable
Restock cleaning supplies and maintain tidy supply closets
Follow safety guidelines and report any maintenance or repair needs to management
Requirements:
Previous experience in commercial janitorial, residential cleaning, or housekeeping preferred
Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently without close supervision
Excellent punctuality and daily attendance record
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs as needed

Schedule: Morning Shifts (~30 Hours / Week)
