    Jackson Health Foundation Development Manager, Foundation Administration, Full Time, Days

    Job Summary:

    The JHF Development Manager supports the growth and expansion of the Foundation''s annual giving program One Day for Jackson.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop a portfolio of up to 100 donors with a significant goal of securing gifts of $2,500 and above.
    • Collaborate with colleagues including marketing, operations, and medical staff to identify and cultivate new donors to support One Day for Jackson.
    • Spend the majority of time in the field proactively identifying, cultivating, and building relationships with prospective donors and partners, then personally leading solicitations through to a closed gift or commitment.
    • Become an ambassador of Jackson Health Foundation in community organizations such as chambers and networking professional groups.
    • Adhere diligently to the Foundation''s moves management and reporting process on the cultivation and solicitation of donors, ensuring proper documentation of their progress.
    • Assess the capacity of donors and prospective donors in order to secure cash gifts and pledges.
    • Work collaboratively across the development team, contributing to a culture of shared success in cultivating gifts that serve both the donor''s intent and the Foundation''s mission.
    • Work evenings/weekends as needed.
    • Have reliable transportation, and able to use vehicle for event-related duties or as needed.
    • Perform all other related job duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    Experience:

    • Generally requires 1 to 3 years related experience.

    Education

    • Bachelor''s degree in related field is preferred.

    Skill:

    • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
    • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure.
    • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
    • Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.
    • Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.

    Credentials

    • Possession of a valid Florida Driver License and satisfactory driving record are required.
    • Must have a clean driving record, free from major traffic offenses such as accidents, DUIs, and traffic violations.
