Job Description

The J33 Battlewatch Supervisor leads the USCENTCOM Battlewatch Support Team, managing specialists, schedules, training, reporting, and 100% manning. The role maintains situational awareness of J3 and current operations, coordinates C2 information, supports crisis notifications, improves processes, and assists senior program leadership. This key personnel position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Duties

• Supervises and leads the Battlewatch Support Team and subordinate specialists.
• Maintains awareness of J3 activities and current operational requirements.
• Manages schedules, training requirements, and staffing coverage for Battlewatch Specialists.
• Compiles daily summaries, reports, and required operational documentation.
• Monitors, assesses, and reports SOF and friendly force current operations.
• Coordinates operational status information with J33 staff and Future Operations planning cells.
• Supports crisis response, notifications, and Battlewatch process improvements.
• Senior Journeyman level J33 Battlewatch Supervisor / Directorate Task Lead.
• Supervisory and leadership experience overseeing Battlewatch Specialists or a Battlewatch Support Team.
• Must maintain awareness of J3 activities and operational necessities within the USCENTCOM AOR.
• Must maintain all relevant training requirements and daily specialized technical support requirements for Battlewatch Specialists.
• Must be available Monday-Friday, 0900-1700 hrs.
