Role: Ivanti Asset/Inventory Implementation Consultant (Phase II) Location: Hayward, CA (Remote) Duration: 6+ months Overview: A public-sector client using cloud-hosted Ivanti needs an experienced consultant to implement the asset/inventory function. Their internal team is building the help desk separately, so this role covers inventory only. The environment is small (under 350 devices), and user records are already loaded from AD/HR.
Responsibilities:- Configure Ivanti asset/inventory: asset types, fields, statuses and lifecycle.
- Load device data, either by migrating from the legacy tool (BMC TrackIT 11.4) or by starting fresh, whichever is cleaner.
- Link devices to existing users and locations.
- Coordinate changes with the client team building the help desk in the same tenant.
- Validate the data with IT staff and provide documentation and admin training.
Required:- Hands-on experience implementing asset/inventory in cloud-hosted Ivanti Neurons (ITSM, ITAM and/or Discovery).
- Experience importing and reconciling device data.
- Experience working in a shared or production environment with change control.
- Clear communication with client IT staff.
Nice to Have: Public-sector experience; TrackIT familiarity.
