Job Description
Overview
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ITS/Traffic Engineering Intern - Spring 2027 to join our Orlando, FL office.
Your Role
Develop plans, specifications, and other documentation to support project delivery.
Compile data and prepare reports related to projects
Reviewing ITS device locations and inventories
Preparing exhibits and figures using:
MicroStation
OpenRoads Designer
AutoCAD Civil 3D
Field work and site visits, including:
Conducting site visits and field investigations
Verifying existing traffic signal equipment
Documenting field conditions with photos
Performing ITS inventory collection
About You
EXPERIENCE:
0-2 Years experience in a related technical field.
EDUCATION:
Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Spring 2027).
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
