    SCOE Edjoin Application Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or California High School Equivalent Certificate. Required to provide own transportation. If using own vehicle in the course of employment, must have valid driver s license and proof of insurance. Enrollment in college for the purpose of completing a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher-level permit preferred.

    Additional Documents: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance. SB 792 (Mendoza) law: Immunization Requirements: Influenza Vaccination, Measles and Pertussis required prior to employment with SCOE.
