Position Title: Sales Director

Location: Waukegan, IL

Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 Base + Uncapped Performance Bonus

Travel: Approximately 25–40% (industry events, customer meetings, strategic accounts)

About the Company

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall sales strategy, execution, and revenue performance for the company's largest business unit.

  • Manage and develop Business Development Managers, Account Managers, Channel Managers, and SDRs.

  • Establish sales goals, territory plans, quotas, and pipeline expectations.

  • Drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM discipline using HubSpot.

  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Logistics to align sales initiatives with operational capacity.

  • Lead enterprise-level customer engagements, strategic account negotiations, and executive presentations.

  • Develop sales processes, compensation plans, coaching programs, and performance management initiatives.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, associations, and networking events.

  • Report monthly revenue performance, forecasting accuracy, and market intelligence to executive leadership.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • 7–12+ years of progressive sales experience.

  • 3–5+ years of sales leadership or management experience.

  • Prior experience in ITAD, IT Asset Management, technology services, electronics recycling, or supply chain industries.

  • Proven success building and scaling high-performing sales teams.

  • Strong experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM administration (HubSpot preferred).

  • Experience creating sales processes, compensation plans, and performance management systems.

  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • MBA or advanced business degree.

  • Experience selling into enterprise, government, procurement, or IT leadership organizations.

  • Knowledge of e-Stewards, RIOS, ISO 14001, and NAID AAA certifications.

  • Experience leading channel partnerships and strategic account development.

  • Strong understanding of technology lifecycle management and environmental compliance.
