Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery: Conduct online training using Microsoft Teams and on-premise training in conference rooms and computer labs. Provide an engaging, interactive, and positive learning experience while maintaining professionalism and order within the classroom.
Needs Assessment: Work with end-users and stakeholders to identify training needs, courses, and content gaps.
LMS Administration: Publish training schedules and course offerings within the Learning Management System (Oracle/Workday). Administer learner enrollments, testing, completions, and assign grades/scoring or certifications.
Feedback & Improvement: Send and review training surveys to obtain feedback, utilizing the data to improve training delivery and internal IT products.
Content Development: Develop, update, and maintain IT training content. Compile information to create PowerPoint presentations, IT Trainer Guides, Quick Reference Guides, User Manuals, Storyboards, Videos, and Computer-Based Training. Engage technical staff to ensure content accuracy.
Logistics & Coordination: Reserve conference rooms and equipment, confirm enrollments before travel, ensure training environments/data are ready, and make appropriate travel arrangements.
Relationship Management: Collaborate and develop relationships with business units, HR, and IT to increase class enrollments, address technical needs, and facilitate vendor/contractor-delivered training.
Project Support: Participate in IT projects by providing user training support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), initial rollouts, and ongoing production operations.
Administration: Ensure correct recordkeeping within the LMS, track time/activities, report performance indicators, and submit accurate expense reports in compliance with travel policies. Keep leadership informed of schedules, technical risks, and travel concerns.
Training: Employs a variety of instructional techniques; effectively obtains learner engagement; delivers competency-based learning; actively seeks feedback to improve.
Content Development: Produces high-quality training content quickly with minimal rework. Highly Desired: Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Scribe, TechSmith Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, and/or Articulate 360/Storyline.
Communication: Routinely and effectively communicates with learners, customers, and leadership regarding work assignments, priorities, timelines, risks, and travel.
Teamwork and Cooperation: Supports the team and IT to accomplish common goals. Demonstrates a “can-do” attitude and assists in conducting scheduled classes when other instructors are unavailable.
Customer Service: Provides helpful, courteous, responsive, and knowledgeable service. Ensures technical needs are routed to the appropriate support staff. Honors commitments and provides follow-through.
