Job Title* Technology Specialist - IT Service, Support and Operations | Insurance | Claims & Policy AdministrationWork Location HartfordCT6106 Vendor Rate* $90.00/hrContract duration (in months)* 12Job Details:Key Responsibilities Elicit, document, and maintain business and functional requirements for API products, including new builds, enhancements, and integrationso e.g., API specifications, data contracts, mappings, and specific integration documentation Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development and QA team members to:o Develop testing plans in conjunction with QA team members for new integrations and major releases with support in validating any business logico Assess the impact of any product changes on end users Support onboarding of internal and external API consumers, managing expectations around delivery timelines and scope and bridging communication between technical teams and business stakeholders Use tools like SQL to validate data, investigate issues, and support analysis across the API product portfolio Be involved in the change management process for product releases, including tracking versioning, supporting release notes, etc.Qualifications Demonstrated understanding of REST APIs, including endpoints, payloads, status codes, and authentication (any experience working with REST APIs would be highly valuable) Detail-oriented with the ability to support in the management and evolution of multiple projects at once Strong verbal and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide array of stakeholders and translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa Strong organizational skills Proactive, self-starter mindset to drive solutions with an eye for identifying gaps Experience with (or a demonstrated understanding of) Agile/Scrum delivery environments and tools like Jira Proficiency in querying relational databases in SQL Proficiency with data analysis using Microsoft Excel Understanding of how data and workflows move across interconnected systems, including end-to-end user journeys spanning multiple platforms and upstream/downstream impacts of system changes Experience working with teams across time zones and/or in cross-cultural contexts (preferred) Experience working with the insurance industry or financial services (preferred)Minimum years of experience*: 8-10 yearsCertifications Needed: NoInterview Process (Is face to face required?)Yes
