Job Title: IT Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level IT Technician to join our growing team in Clinton, CT. You will support day-to-day IT operations, assist employees with technical issues, and help maintain our systems and equipment to ensure smooth production and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Set up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT problems in a timely manner
Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions
Support manufacturing systems and shop floor technology as needed
Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups
Maintain accurate records of IT issues and resolutions
Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and efficiency
Ensure compliance with company policies and cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and common IT hardware
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior internship or hands-on experience is a plus but not required
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Familiarity with networking basics (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, etc.)
Experience with help desk or ticketing systems
Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments
Note: Pay is based on experience
