As IT Technical Product Manager, your work will help shape the technology ecosystem that powers the credit union's operations, employee experience, and member experience.That's a big deal!You'll serve as the strategic owner of Utah First's core banking platform and related technology products, helping guide critical decisions that affect how we serve members today and how we grow tomorrow. You'll influence enterprise priorities, lead a team of Product Owners, and ensure our technology investments deliver measurable business value while maintaining security, scalability, and operational excellence.Here's what that looks like day to day:Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Utah First's core banking platform and related technology products, ensuring alignment with organizational goalsOwn and prioritize product backlogs, balancing innovation, business requests, technical debt, scalability, performance, compliance, and operational needsPartner with business leaders, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical requirements, user stories, and product prioritiesLead and develop a team of Product Owners while establishing clear expectations, delivery standards, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvementUse data, performance metrics, testing results, and operational insights to evaluate product success, inform decisions, and drive ongoing optimizationSchedule: Monday-Friday during regular business hours at our Salt Lake City, Utah corporate headquarters.WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experienceMinimum 5 years of experience managing technology products through concept, launch, adoption, optimization, and scaleExperience working with a credit union core banking platform, financial-services technology provider, FinTech company, or other regulated-industry technology environmentStrong understanding of software development principles, system architecture, APIs, integrations, and data pipelinesExperience translating business needs into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized product backlogsHands-on experience using data, analytics, and performance metrics to drive product decisions and measure outcomesDemonstrated leadership experience guiding Product Owners or cross-functional product teamsExceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with executives, operational leaders, engineers, and external partnersProven ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsDirect experience with Jack Henry SymitarExperience within a credit union, community financial institution, FinTech, or payment-services environmentExperience leading multiple technology products or product portfoliosFamiliarity with experimentation, product optimization, and data-driven product development practicesCoding proficiency or software-development experienceWHY UTAH FIRST?Since 1935, Utah First Credit Union has helped members build brighter financial futures while staying true to its community-focused roots.
