IT Technical Analyst (Remote)

We're hiring an IT Technical Analyst to join our team. This role is primarily remote; although South Carolina (Columbia, Charleston); Charlotte, NC, or Winterhaven, FL, are preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with:
  • IT analysis or technical support experience in financial services
    • Creating technical documentation, traceability matrices, test cases and scripts, test management artifacts, and system architecture/workflow documentation
• Experience with:
  • System integrations, APIs, batch processing, and data flows
  • Vendor-based platforms (core banking, payments, AML, CRM)
  • SDLC, defect management, and testing lifecycle processes
  • Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and test management tools
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of SOX, PCI, and FFIEC preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze vendor application architectures, interfaces, APIs, and configurations 
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into:
  • Functional design documents
  • Visio workflows
  • Interface specifications
  • Requirement traceability matrices
  • Test plans and scripts
  • Defect management documentation
• Support environment readiness, test data provisioning, and vendor testing activities
• Prepare change management documentation
• Ensure adherence to banking security, risk, and compliance standards

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT analysis or technical support within the financial services sector, with a strong background in creating technical documentation and understanding system integrations. They should possess a solid knowledge of SOX, PCI, and FFIEC, and be proficient in using tools like Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
