Description

Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for an IT Technical Analyst for their Arden, NC location.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis & Value Alignment
    • Act as a trusted IT partner for plant leaders, functional stakeholders, IT Managers, and enterprise IT teams.
    • Translate business challenges into structured IT opportunities with clear requirements, benefits, risks, and value drivers.
    • Develop business value narratives, one-page summaries, and support documentation for IT initiatives.
    • Support prioritization of technology requests based on business impact, operational value, and resource readiness.
  • SAP & Operational Excellence Support
    • Support SAP excellence initiatives by analyzing process gaps, data quality issues, user adoption needs, and performance trends.
    • Assist with KPI definition, reporting, and performance reviews related to SAP utilization, inventory, planning, productivity, and service outcomes.
    • Help connect SAP data quality and process discipline to measurable business results for plant and functional teams.
  • IT Service, Reporting & Consumption Transparency
    • Analyze and communicate trends related to IT consumption, including SAP licenses, end-user computing assets, Microsoft tools, engineering software, and service demand.
    • Provide dashboards, summaries, and recommendations that support data-driven decisions between IT, finance, and business leadership.
    • Follow ITIL principles for incident, request, problem, and change management while supporting high service quality and SLA performance.
  • Digitalization, Automation & AI Enablement
    • Support intake, evaluation, and prioritization of digitalization, automation, AI, and analytics opportunities.
    • Help define baseline metrics, expected benefits, and success measures for pilots and improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with business owners to ensure use cases have clear ownership, measurable outcomes, and sustainable adoption plans.
  • Governance, Resilience & Documentation
    • Support IT governance, roadmap, compliance, disaster recovery, audit readiness, and risk-tracking activities.
    • Translate technical risks, controls, and improvement actions into business-impact language.
    • Prepare clear, structured, and audit-ready documentation for reviews, approvals, and continuous improvement activities.
 
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, business analysis, IT service delivery, manufacturing systems support, or related technology roles.
  • Manufacturing environment experience is preferred, with the ability to understand plant operations and connect technology solutions to business outcomes.
  • SAP knowledge or practical exposure is preferred, especially around business process support, data quality, user enablement, reporting, or operational KPIs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, frame business value, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices, ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, service delivery expectations, and SLA discipline.
  • Experience supporting dashboards, reporting, documentation, business cases, process maps, or requirements gathering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, listening skills, and action-oriented follow-through.
  • Ability to collaborate with local teams, enterprise IT, outside vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable leading small to medium improvement activities or participating in enterprise and global initiatives.
  • Ability to provide input to key support processes, standards, procedures, and continuous improvement actions.
