IT Systems Support Specialist III

The knowledge and experience desired include:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ERP ABAP development and programming in ECC 6.0.
• Work experience in multiple modules within the SAP ERP system
• Knowledge of Web Dynpro ABAP, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, Workflows, Adobe Forms, Smartforms, Sapscript, and ABAP on HANA
• Ability to tune application components for optimized performance and efficiency
• Ability to work on their own and with others in a team environment
• Excellent documentation skills for solutions developed
• Willing to offer training support to team members with less experience

The ideal candidate will have good presentation skills with business stakeholders, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

The County of Sacramento has a backlog of SAP Benefits and payroll work. This work includes creation and updating of benefits and payroll reports sent to medical providers, automation of benefit plan selections based on represented employee organization changes, and other various reports - mostly centered around payroll data and including FI postings. There is additional ABAP work needed for payroll reports requiring identification of retroactive amounts in various employee payroll deductions and identification of the pay period they were taken and subsequently adjusted. All work requires broad technical experience with SAP HR-Benefits and Payroll data.
