IT Systems Management Analyst (Epic)

Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Systems Management Analyst with Epic experience to augment a shared services team supporting a growing portfolio of healthcare clients. This role will primarily support one client while providing opportunities to contribute to projects and operational activities across other client environments as capacity and expertise allow.
The analyst will work across project delivery, system maintenance, operational support, ticket resolution, and Epic upgrades. The ideal candidate has strong healthcare IT experience, familiarity with Epic applications and workflows, and the ability to work independently in a shared-services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Epic-related projects, implementations, enhancements, and system upgrades.
- Perform day-to-day application maintenance, operational support, troubleshooting, and ticket resolution.
- Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with technical and functional teams to resolve problems.
- Participate in requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and implementation activities.
- Support Epic upgrade activities, including testing, issue identification, validation, and post-upgrade support.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal shared-services teams to prioritize work and meet project timelines.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system support materials.
- Provide additional support to other healthcare clients when required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT systems/application support.
- Hands-on experience supporting Epic environments or Epic-related applications.
- Experience with application maintenance, troubleshooting, ticket management, and production support.
- Experience participating in software upgrades, testing, implementations, or enhancement projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a shared-services or consulting environment.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multiple healthcare organizations or client environments.
- Epic certification or experience with specific Epic modules.
- Experience with healthcare workflows, clinical systems, or electronic health records (EHR).
- Familiarity with ITIL, incident/problem management, or service management processes.
- Experience working in a project-based consulting or managed-services environment.
