We are currently seeking a highly skilled, innovative, and motivated IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's systems infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of CMMC Level 2, security controls, NIST 800-171, Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and Zscaler Private Access, as well as a passion for technology and a commitment to continuously developing and enhancing their skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain IT systems infrastructure including servers, storage, network, security systems, and associated software.
2. Ensure the secure and efficient operation of our IT systems by implementing and maintaining CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171 security controls.
3. Install, configure, and manage Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and Zscaler Private Access to protect our IT systems from security threats.
4. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
5. Collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
6. Develop comprehensive reports on overall system health, performance, and security.
7. Stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways for the organization to take advantage of new technology.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful system design, implementation, and maintenance.
3. Expert knowledge of CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171, Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and Zscaler Private Access.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to collaborative problem solving.
7. Professional certifications in relevant areas, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), are highly desirable.
