    Description

     

    Reports To: Director of IT 

    FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Exempt, Salary Range $39.26-$53.66.

    Essential Functions

    - Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

    - Virtualization and Cloud Computing: Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to optimize resource utilization and scalability.

    - Backup and Disaster Recovery: Establish and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

    - User Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly. Conduct training sessions to empower users with essential IT knowledge.

    - Active Directory and Identity Management: Administer user accounts, groups, and access control policies in Active Directory. Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place.

    - Monitoring and Alerting: Implement automated monitoring systems to proactively identify and address potential issues. Respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.

    - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies. Generate regular reports on system performance and security status.

    - Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    - Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.

    - Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in network and systems administration.

    - Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, enterprise networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity technologies.

    - Healthcare IT experience and knowledge of HIPAA security requirements preferred.

    - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft, or VMware certifications are preferred.
