The Brandon School District Technology Department is small, which means the work is broad and you own real systems from your first month instead of waiting years for the chance.The primary work site is Brandon High School, with local travel to Brandon Middle School, Harvey-Swanson Elementary, and Oakwood Elementary. This position is contracted through Edustaff. What you will actually work onMost technician jobs at this level are a ticket queue and nothing else. This one is not. Day-to-day support is real and it matters â staff laptops, student Chromebooks, classroom audio/video, printers, and the network that holds it all together. Alongside that, you will work with the Director of Technology on district projects:Enterprise badge access control (Kantech EntraPass) â new installation at the high school and retrofits district-wideIP camera system maintenance, expansion, and repairServer virtualization and infrastructure upgradesActive Directory, Group Policy, and Windows 11 fleet managementGoogle Workspace, Chromebook, & iPad administration at scaleEnterprise network and firewall hardware (Palo Alto, HP Aruba, & Meraki)That is the kind of range that usually takes five years and three different jobs to assemble.
