Schedule: Mon – FriPosition Summary:We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to support our Montreal and Longueuil offices in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is a contract role for a technology-focused professional who can provide high-quality, white-glove support to employees both onsite and remotely.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working as part of a distributed team and supporting users across multiple locations in the US, Mexico, Canada, and Eastern Europe. You are collaborative, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable troubleshooting issues independently while knowing when to escalate.
You will play a key role in delivering excellent end-user experience, supporting both Apple and Windows environments, and helping maintain reliable IT and AV operations.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues involving Apple and Windows products, including desktop and laptop hardware.
- Assist with AV setup for internal meetings and events.
- Support employees using AV systems both onsite and remotely, including Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Chrome device management, projectors, and audio/video conferencing equipment.
- Image and deploy laptops and desktops using standard Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment tools, including Jamf, NinjaOne, and AirWatch.
- Administer Okta, Google Workspace, and software services.
- Deploy and support software applications for end users.
- Respond to IT support requests both in person and through the ticketing system.
- Manage hardware and software inventory.
- Work with appropriate escalation points to identify opportunities and improve the overall end-user experience.
- Improve and maintain internal and user-facing knowledge bases.
Requirements- Fluent in both French and English.
- Positive, service-oriented attitude with a strong customer-obsession mindset.
- 2–3+ years of experience in IT support roles.
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge, including servers, switches, Wi-Fi, and related technologies.
- Hands-on AV support experience.
- Experience administering Apple computer products using enterprise management tools.
- Hands-on experience managing Windows laptops and desktops.
- Experience using and managing ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems, particularly ITIL Service Desk software and Confluence.
- Strong macOS hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds as needed.
