POSITION: IT Support Specialist - Level I
STATUS: Full Time
HOURS: Monday through Friday; 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM / 37.5 hours per week
LOCATION: Robinson
Partners For Quality Inc. is a private, non-profit social services organization based in Robinson Township with a satellite office in the East Hills area. We are the administrative parent company to 5 subsidiaries and are responsible for the Fiscal, Payroll, HR, IT and support services to each. Our subsidiaries include Allegheny Childrens Initiative, Citizen Care, Exceptional Adventures, Milestone Centers and the PFQ Foundation. Through these subsidiaries, we provide community based supports and services to adults and children with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health challenges in Allegheny County.
Responsibilities:Responsible to the Director of Information Technology (IT) Operations for the maintenance and management of computers, networks, connections and software within Partners For Quality, Inc. All responsibilities shall be completed in a manner consistent with Vision, Mission and Values of Partners For Quality, Inc.
- Support end users across the entire organization
- Support all software applications including installation, access and ongoing support
- Support and manage end-user hardware across the entire organization
- Travel to required offices and work sites as necessary
- Assist the Director of IT Operations with other departmental functions and/or duties as assigned
- Train new employees on hardware and software and provide on-going training as needed
- Provide technical and troubleshooting support (help desk) for end users
- Understanding of, and compliance with, all Agency Policies and Procedures, and all Federal, State and County service line regulations
- Assume responsibilities which support Corporate Accreditations/Certifications as demonstrated by, but not limited to:
- Assuring compliance in IT areas for the Corporation and its subsidiaries
- Participating in departmental quality improvement efforts
- Assuring the IT function is responsive to the needs of Partners For Quality and all subsidiary employees
- Displaying teamwork and cooperation in dealing with management, others within the Agency, and external stakeholders

Qualifications:- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science and/or related field

About Company
Partners For Quality Inc. (PFQ) is a private, non-profit organization based in Robinson Township. Partners For Quality provides administrative management to five subsidiary organizations that support local individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. PFQ’s management services include Fiscal (including payroll), HR, IT and Communications – thus allowing subsidiaries to focus on their day-to-day priorities. Allegheny Children’s Initiative provides mental and behavioral health community-based services to children, adolescents and families throughout Allegheny County. Based in Pittsburgh’s South Side, we provide Intensive Behavioral Health Services, Service Coordination, Student Assistance, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Family Based Mental Health programs. ACI has earned certification from the Council On Accreditation.
Citizen Care Inc. provides residential, day program, habilitation, supported employment opportunities and behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.
Exceptional Adventures has more than 40 years of experience providing vacation opportunities, social events and monthly dances for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our recreational and travel programs are designed to support guests in a wide variety of activities. Organized trips include motor coach, flight, train and cruise packages which are offered year-round.
Milestone Centers supports individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our Agency oversees 20 residential settings, two outpatient offices, three adult training facilities, a prevocational enterprise program, a consumer drop-in center, habilitation services, and two Health Care Quality Units in Butler and Warren, which train professionals in 18 counties. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
The Partners For Quality Foundation conducts fundraising for all organizational services and supports. Partners For Quality Inc. receives operating funds through various sources, private gifts, grants and special events helping the agency go “above and beyond” basic needs. The Foundation’s goal is to build and strengthen PFQ’s support resources to supplement government dollars.
