IT Support Specialist (Help Desk)

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
Location: Fully Onsite | 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays)

We’re partnering with a family-owned manufacturer of advanced water chiller systems known for its stability, strong culture, and long-tenured employees. As the company continues to grow, they are looking to bring on an IT Support Specialist to support internal users and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide first-level and intermediate technical support to internal users
  • Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, user access, and network connectivity
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps within the ticketing system
  • Set up, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and user environments
  • Manage software installations, updates, and patching across systems
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory / M365 / Entra ID)
  • Support onboarding/offboarding activities and user profile setup
  • Escalate complex issues to internal IT teams when necessary
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support production and business operations
  • Provide hands-on support within a manufacturing environment
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of IT Support / Help Desk / Desktop Support experience
  • Strong experience supporting users in a fully onsite environment
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Windows environments and desktop support tools
    • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
    • Active Directory (user management, groups, permissions)
    • Basic networking (connectivity, troubleshooting)
  • Experience with software deployment and patch management
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Exposure to compliance, audits, or technical documentation processes
  • Familiarity with server environments and basic administration
Work Environment
  • Fully onsite role with hands-on support responsibilities
  • Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Occasional Saturday support required
  • Not eligible for remote work
