We are actively recruiting an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team!


Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver with a passion for helping others? We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to become an essential part of our dynamic team in our Draper, UT office. In this role, you’ll provide top-notch technical support to our end users, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to innovative projects and a collaborative work environment.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Empower Users: Respond promptly to help desk tickets, messages, and emails, resolving issues related to PCs, applications, printers, faxes, and network connectivity.
  • Lead & Escalate: Serve as a go-to expert by acting as an escalation point for complex helpdesk challenges.
  • Document & Educate: Develop clear, user-friendly documentation for common issues, ensuring both helpdesk staff and end users have the tools they need.
  • Leverage your Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Active Directory to manage user accounts, permissions, and email configurations.
  • Hardware & Software Management: Install and replace hardware and software across multiple locations, apply security patches, and manage company assets with precision.
  • Plan for Success: Collaborate on disaster recovery plans and coordinate equipment relocation and reallocation during company moves.
  • Support Remote Users: Assist team members working in other offices with accessing essential technology and provide solutions for portable and handheld devices.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with the Innovation & Technology Department on exciting projects, research, and process improvements.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:


Education and Work Authorization:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident
  • CompTIA A+ Certification is preferred


Experience and Skills:

  • 0 - 2+ years' experience in an IT Support Specialist Role
  • Proven experience of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and related software
  • Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and written, technical concepts in a clear and understandable way
  • Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders

The office environment is fast-paced and collaborative.  An employee must be willing and able to work their regularly assigned work schedule onsite, and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company or departmental needs, project requirements, or customer demands. 

 

While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, comprehending, and reading; being able to lift light objects (<25 lbs); and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones.  In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist, or squat down to open/close cabinets and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.
