    Description

    Drug Plastics is looking for you to join our Corporate team! As an IT Support Specialist, you should enjoy challenges of installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems that optimize efficiency and security. This is a Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm position.

    Some Responsibilities Include: 

    • Help desk and day-to-day workstation troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues. This includes investigating and resolving trouble ticket items and making necessary repairs in a timely manner.
    • Onsite and remote support tackling day-to-day maintenance and repair of end user devices, including computers, printers, scanners, phones, tablets and network components.
    • Responsible for the onboarding of new employees to include account set up, building/configuring the workstation, deskside installations, phone provisioning, and training. Also responsible for disabling accounts and de-configuring workstations as employees leave the organization.
    • Monitoring the long-term information security and privacy strategy.
    • Responsible for maintaining spare equipment inventory to fulfill requests and hardware replacements.
    • Installing, terminating and testing network cabling. 
    • VoIP setup and requests (Zoom)
    • Active Directory group provisioning and de-provisioning
    • Maintain hardware and software asset management system

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of an associate's degree or 1-3 years of IT Support experience
    • Working Knowledge of Windows 11 Environments
    • Committed to making a positive change but remaining flexible as priorities and responsibilities shift
