We are supporting our client on a search for an IT Support Specialist who will be the friendly, capable face of IT for a fully remote team. This is a hands-on seat where you will own the day-to-day help desk, drive SaaS hygiene, and partner with security on the basics that keep the company humming.

You will work fully remote across US time zones. We are open to junior IT support and help desk professionals, sysadmins ready for a remote role, and career changers with prior tech support exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT requests across Slack, email, and tickets
  • Troubleshoot Mac, Windows, and mobile device issues
  • Manage SaaS app provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding workflows for hardware and accounts
  • Maintain laptop inventory, shipping, returns, and asset tracking
  • Support video conferencing, networking, and basic IT infrastructure
  • Document common issues, FAQs, and runbooks for the help desk
  • Partner with security on MFA, SSO, endpoint security, and policy enforcement

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of IT support, help desk, or systems administration experience
  • Comfort troubleshooting macOS, Windows, and common SaaS tools
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, and Okta or similar IdP
  • Strong written communication and a service mindset
  • Reliable home office and ability to overlap US business hours
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Google IT Support certification a plus
