Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified
IT Support & Network Project Technician to join their team
onsite in Cincinnati, OH.
Project Execution & CoordinationExecute IT projects and initiatives assigned by the IT Site Leader
Independently manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables with minimal direction
Track project progress against established deadlines and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and obstacles
Develop and maintain documentation related to projects, procedures, and technical solutions
Coordinate activities between local teams, centralized support organizations, vendors, and business stakeholders
Assist with process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining support responsibilities
Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity issues for manufacturing-related devices, computers, and printers
Configure static IP addresses, network adapters, subnet settings, and VLAN connectivity
Utilize web-based management interfaces to configure ports and network settings
Assist with installation of network drops and structured cabling
Support data room activities including switch, router, server, storage, and telecommunications cabling
Perform cable termination, testing, validation, and troubleshooting
Conduct device security scans and maintain compliance with IT security requirements
Demonstrate strong security awareness and quickly integrate company security policies and standards into daily activities
Perform break-fix support for PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, VoIP phones, and related hardware
Install, image, configure, move, add, and change equipment as required
Troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices
Support manufacturing equipment interfaces and production-related computing devices
Assist coworkers and end users in resolving technical issues
Support the IT Site Leader in executing established support processes and escalation procedures
Minimum 5 to 7+ years of IT support, networking, infrastructure, or technical project experience
Experience supporting PCs, laptops, printers, and associated peripherals
Working knowledge of:
Experience utilizing ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Positive attitude and strong relationship-building capabilities
High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
Strong note-taking and documentation habits
Ability to quickly absorb technical information and work independently
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to prioritize competing tasks and maintain focus on deadlines
Demonstrated ability to plan actions and milestones that support successful project completion
Comfortable receiving objectives and independently determining the path to completion
Able to identify project gaps, risks, and dependencies
Strong ability to track deliverables and drive projects forward without constant oversight
Able to manage multiple projects while balancing operational support responsibilities
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to support onsite operations in a manufacturing environment
Manufacturing or industrial IT support experience preferred
Exposure to project coordination or project-based technical work preferred
Experience preferred with:
VoIP technologies
Structured cabling
Network drops
Ethernet cable termination and testing
Data jack termination
Switch and router infrastructure
Data room/server room cabling
Manufacturing device networking
Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between
$20.29 - $27.06 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
