    Job Summary

    ***This is an onsite role in the Code 3 office in St. Louis.***


    The IT Support Intern will gain meaningful, hands-on experience supporting the technology that keeps our teams connected and productive. In this role, you will work alongside experienced IT professionals to troubleshoot user issues, set up and maintain hardware, support account and system administration tasks, and contribute to day-to-day IT operations.     Essential Responsibilities and Functions

    

    • Assist with setup, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware
    • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
    • Support user account management, password resets, and access permissions
    • Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
    • Assist with installation, updates, and maintenance of operating systems and applications
    • Support basic system administration tasks in Windows and cloud-based environments
    • Participate in onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation setup and account provisioning
    • Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and support tickets
    • Escalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate IT staff and assist with follow-through
    • Assist with cybersecurity best practices, system patching, and antivirus maintenance
    • Assist with conference room technology, audiovisual systems, and meeting support
    • Collaborate with IT staff on projects, upgrades, and process improvements
    • Perform other related duties as assigned


    Qualifications to Succeed


    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
    • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts
    • Experience with Active Directory, ticketing systems, remote support tools, or endpoint management tools preferred
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
    • Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and a strong customer-service mindset
    • Eagerness to learn new technologies and systems
