Hours of work: 37.5 per week

Our experienced workforce can tackle projects from simple building frames to the most complex structures. With plants in Barnsley South Yorkshire, we have the capability to process 50,000 tonnes of steel per annum, and are able to service clients at locations throughout the UK and Europe.

Role Purpose

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Modeller responsible for the following...

• • We are looking to recruit a trainee to learn the role of 3D modelling. Ideally the person would have basic experience of using a 3D modelling package such as Autocad and have an interest in undertaking a technical role. Full on the job support will be provided alongside an appropriate qualification funded such as a degree level apprenticeship in civil engineering.
• • The role will involve producing accurate electronic drawings and 3D models to a presentable standard as part of a commercial project. You will learn to review technical drawings presented by potential clients and create detailed material reports.
• • You will work closely with the estimating team and design team and will also liaise with clients.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• • The ideal candidate will have a qualification in a relevant field such a Construction and the built environment.
• • Must hold 5 GCSE's grade A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (Grade 4 or above)
