We are seeking a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst (Independent Contractor) to support day-to-day SAM operations and application governance. This position will play a key role in reviewing software requests, managing service tickets, and supporting core SAM processes.
In this role, you will:

Review end user software application requests to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Manage and respond to ServiceNow tickets related to software requests, access, licensing, and SAM inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
Support software governance processes, including intake, evaluation, and routing of new software requests
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise software catalog.
Support ongoing improvement of SAM processes and tools
What You Will Need to Succeed:


Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
2-5 years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Service Management, or a related IT operations role
Experience working within ServiceNow ITSM
Exposure to software governance or application portfolio management processes
Familiarity with software licensing concepts, contracts, and entitlements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and validate data
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced, operational environment
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with end users and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
