IT Specialist opportunity with a growing community bank. The IT Specialist assists with the day-to-day technology operations by managing vendor coordination, employee technology setup, asset lifecycle management, issue resolution, and audit and examination support. This role is built for a high performer who is comfortable moving quickly in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

IT Specialist is
responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:- Act as the primary liaison for managed service providers (MSPs) and software vendors, tracking contracts, tickets, and deliverables through to resolution.
- Manage all employee technology needs, from onboarding (hardware, software, access setup) to offboarding, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Maintain accurate inventories of hardware, software, and licenses, and proactively execute end-of-life replacement plans.
- Coordinate IT audits, risk assessments, and control activities (like patching, backups, and vulnerability remediation) in partnership with internal teams and vendors.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day tech issues, clearly communicate updates to non-technical staff, and implement tooling or process improvements to reduce manual work.
Required qualifications for the position include:- Demonstrated experience in IT support, systems administration, technology operations, and vendor management.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint administration, and fundamental network/security concepts.
- Excellent organizational and project management discipline for maintaining accurate inventories, timelines, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to non-technical employees, leadership, and auditors.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:- 3+ years of IT operations experience in a bank or similarly regulated financial institution.
- Hands-on experience coordinating audits, regulatory exams, business continuity testing, and managed service providers.
- Familiarity with banking core systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory guidance.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft, or ITIL).
Pay Rate Range: $80,000 - $90,000 for salaried positions
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
