Description
Duties of this position will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Design and document laptops and desktops hardware solutions as well as operating systems configurations.
- Develop and create Windows baseline images doe laptops and desktops.
- Administer and support mobile device management solution.
- Create and maintain Active Directory Group Policies.
- Troubleshoot, resolve problems and provide preventive maintenance.
- Perform system software and hardware upgrades and patches; including planning, testing, scheduling, coordination and deployment.
- Research and test current and new Service Desk infrastructure products and services. Conduct evaluation and proof of concepts of hardware and software technologies and provide recommendations on improving current platform.
- Administer and support remote access technologies.
Mandatory Qualifications| 1 | 48 Months of experience in the Field of Desktop Engineering |
| 2 | 48 Months of experience with Windows 7 & 10 |
| 3 | 48 Months experience in technical approaches to design, build testing, and debugging problems |
| 4 | 48 Months of experience in active directory group policy. |
| 5 | 48 Months of experience with Window image deployment and package creation/management. |
| 6 | 48 Months of experience in PowerShell scripting language experience |
| 7 | 48 Months experience in client-based security management tools including anti-virus, PKI, HDD encryption, and general client-based security hardening |
| 8 | 48 Months of experience in Networking concepts (DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, Firewalls, etc.). |
| 9 | 48 Months experience in Advanced troubleshooting and support for VPN and two Factor Authentication |
| 10 | 48 Months of experience in Active Directory administration and management. |
| 11 | 48 Months of experience with Cybersecurity best practices and compliance |
| 12 | 48 Months of experience with Client workstation hardware |
| 13 | 48 Months of experience in mobile device management (MDM) solution |
| 14 | 48 Months of experience in handling multiple tasks (ex: imaging laptops, answering the phones, supporting users, troubleshooting issues). |
| 15 | 48 Months of engineer experience in research, analysis, planning, and implementation |
