IDR is seeking a IT Solutions Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Minneapolis, Minnesota . In this role, you will provide end-to-end solution architecture leadership for major initiatives within an SAP Work Execution / Plant Maintenance domain for a large, complex enterprise. This opportunity is within an asset-intensive, regulated industry where secure, scalable integration and modernization are key to long-term business outcomes.
Position Overview for the IT Solutions Architect:
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture and technical direction across application, integration, data, infrastructure/hosting, and security domains.
- Own architectural integrity for SAP-centric solutions supporting Work Execution, Plant Maintenance, and related asset management processes.
- Design cross-system integrations and platform patterns (APIs, events, batch/file, middleware-enabled integrations) to enable reliable business capabilities.
- Drive architecture governance by ensuring standards compliance, facilitating architectural reviews, and managing exceptions where needed.
- Support modernization efforts (including SAP platform upgrades and transition planning) while ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, supportable, and built for long-term outcomes.
Requirements for the IT Solutions Architect :
- 8+ years of IT experience in a large, complex environment, including 8+ years of solution architecture leading end-to-end design and delivery.
- 6+ years of SAP architecture / SAP solution delivery experience with responsibility for solution integrity across multiple workstreams (implementation, integration, security, data, operations).
- Demonstrated experience with both SAP Architecture and AWS Architecture, including designing and implementing large-scale systems.
- Strong experience with SAP integrations and integration patterns across SAP and non-SAP platforms; ability to perform trade-off analysis and define non-functional requirements.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; familiarity with pragmatic use of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and governance forums.

Compensation Details: $80-85/hr W2#LI-Hybrid
