Pay Range: $75.00 - $85.00 Per Hour

Job Summary:

This role involves hands-on investigation and response to security incidents within a Security Operations Center. The engineer will analyze threats, conduct forensic examinations, and manage the incident lifecycle from detection to closure. A deep understanding of attacker methods and experience with modern security technologies are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage critical security incidents.
• Conduct in-depth host and network forensic analysis.
• Correlate security logs to validate threats.
• Develop and refine incident response procedures.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools for threat investigation.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience in incident response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in financial services or a related regulated industry is preferred.
