IT Security Analyst

Works with the Information Security team to identify and remediate gaps in systems security and/or configurations and performs other duties as required. Responsibilities: Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems and threats.

Minimum Qualifications

One of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computing and/or related field
• 4 of the most recent 6 years’ experience in IT security

 

Working knowledge of IT security practices, policies, and procedures

Well developed oral and written communications skills

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

Licensure/Registration/Certification

IT security certification(s)

Responsibilities:

Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems and threats. Manages and monitors IT security systems, including security-related hardware, software, and appliances. Works with the Information Security team to identify and remediate gaps in systems security and/or configurations and performs other duties as required.
