Job Overview
This role involves working closely with the SCDHHS Project Management Office to ensure the quality and efficiency of our IT projects. You will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, analyzing results, and collaborating with project teams to enhance our systems and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, healthcare, or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
2 years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios.
2 years of knowledge in manual testing techniques, including functional, regression, smoke, usability, and boundary testing.
3 years of deep knowledge of healthcare operations, preferably Medicaid, and business processes.
Proficiency in SCDHHS test processes and SDLC tools.
Preferences
Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources.
2 years of experience with large enterprise or e-business systems.
3 years of experience using QA tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar.
3 years of prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) and in an AGILE delivery environment.
