IT Research Business Systems Analyst

Summary:

• Work Mode: Hybrid - 3 days/month Mission Bay, non-local remote candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on Oracle Cloud ERP implementation support across Grants, Projects/PPM, and Accounts Receivable.
• Collaborate with operational units such as Accounting, Research, and Academic Departments, as well as technical units within IT.
• Act as a bridge between end-users and technical development resources.
• Ensure system performance and integrity during upgrades by validating all system functions routinely.
• Apply problem-solving skills and design principles to improve and extend business applications.

Requirements:

• Functional experience in Oracle Cloud Grants, Projects, and AR implementation and support.
• Experience with functional requirements, configuration, data conversion or validation, testing, integrations, and Oracle reporting tools such as BI Publisher or OTBI.
• Advanced knowledge of system support, including requirements, analysis, data, and documentation through design, programming, testing, and implementation phases.
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills (written and oral).

Preferred Skills:

• PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
• General experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, OCI, SQL, or BI is beneficial but not sufficient without direct Oracle Cloud ERP implementation experience.
