IT Recruiter -  4 month Contract Opportunity 

 

Pay Rate $38.75 an hour 

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a Contract IT Recruiter to support the full-cycle recruitment process for technical positions across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing, screening, and hiring IT professionals, including software developers, systems administrators, network engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and other technology roles. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, knowledge of technical recruiting practices, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for IT and technical positions.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities.

  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.

  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone or video interviews.

  • Assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Negotiate compensation and facilitate offer processes.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.

  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide status updates to stakeholders.

  • Stay current on IT hiring trends, market conditions, and sourcing strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • 2–5+ years of experience recruiting for IT or technical roles.

  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting and high-volume hiring.

  • Knowledge of technical roles, technologies, and IT terminology.

  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Strong communication, interviewing, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
