Title: IT Project Manager V
Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid onsite - Tu & Wed and as requested)

Description
Job duties may include applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments. Responsibilities involve meeting with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identifying and resolving systems issues.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in an applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Possesses three to five years of experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload
- Own the integrated portfolio workplan, including milestones, dependencies, critical path, stage-gate readiness, and ownership.
- Consolidate baseline budget, forecast, actuals, contingency, and variance explanations; reconcile the Customer Service view with IT reporting.
- Maintain integrated risks, issues, actions, decisions, dependencies, and changes with owners, dates, escalation thresholds, and aging.
- Prepare weekly and monthly portfolio rollups and concise, decision-ready materials for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Operate governance, intake, and change control for additions, descopes, pauses, and reprioritization.
- Coordinate vendor and contract oversight with Customer Service, IT, Finance, Procurement, and delivery partners.
- Design and maintain the operating model, RACI, governance calendar, escalation paths, and boundary with the existing DXR PMO.
- Support business and IT project-lead pairings without taking over product or workstream delivery accountability.
- Create a durable PMO package with templates, cadence, decision history, and handoff instructions.
Required Skills/Attributes
- Ownership of an integrated portfolio with at least three meaningful technology workstreams.
- Joint business and IT PMO experience.
- Portfolio financial management, forecasting, reconciliation, and value tracking.
- Risk, issue, decision, dependency, and change-control discipline.
- Executive communication that converts complexity into clear decisions, consequences, and next steps.
- Multi-vendor technology-transformation experience.
- Ability to drive closure across senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Comfort with hybrid agile and stage-gated governance.
- Credible examples or sanitized work samples of integrated plans, executive reporting, financial rollups, or decision governance.
Desired Skills/Attributes
- Utility or other regulated-industry experience.
- Customer-service technology experience, including conversational AI, contact-center platforms, billing, collections, SAP, or related systems.
- Experience mobilizing a new PMO and leaving a sustainable operating model.
- Familiarity with enterprise portfolio tools and governance forums comparable to SCE.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on artifact creation.
