We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a background managing complex technology projects from planning through delivery. This role is responsible for project planning, budgeting, resource management, stakeholder communication, risk management, and successful delivery of project objectives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager with strong experience leading software development teams, managing customer-facing initiatives, and working in Agile environments.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Information Technology project management.
Proof of active PMP certification is required and must be included in the application
Scrum Master certification preferred
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and/or SAFe
Experience preparing and managing project budgets
Experience managing technical software development teams
Experience managing customer-facing Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Experience with business analysis, business process mapping, and requirements documentation
Experience supporting healthcare insurance systems or similarly complex healthcare applications
Experience using Azure DevOps for project planning, tracking, and delivery
Experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Experience working with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems
Strong communication, organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and exercise sound judgment in complex project environments
Experience preparing formal Business Cases and Project Charters preferred
Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and deliver complex IT projects from initiation through completion
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource requirements
Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables
Lead software development teams and coordinate cross-functional project resources
Manage customer-facing Integrated Product Teams and facilitate collaboration among technical and business stakeholders
Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support effective delivery practices
Use Azure DevOps and PPM tools to track project activities, deliverables, resources, and status
Coordinate UAT, including planning, execution, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication
Work with business analysts and stakeholders to document requirements and business processes
Support business case and project charter development as needed
Provide regular project status updates, metrics, and reporting to leadership and stakeholders
Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and corrective actions
Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
Communicate project goals, priorities, status, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
