Job Title: IT Project Manager

Duration: 12 Months (Potential to extend or convert into FTE)

Location: Frisco, TX

Schedule: On-site (5 days)

Required Pay Scale: $56/hr on W2

Job Summary:

A Technical Project Manager is responsible for driving multiple moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger, more complex projects. Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Leads and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure.

  • Experience with Risk, Time, and Cost management
  • Experience delivering SAAS products

Key Responsibilities

  • Typical day: they start a project once they have an SOW in place, get on a call with client and agree on a plan, configure account, setup API features, explain the use cases, hand over credentials of APIs to technical team, customer then starts integrating them
  • 4 flavors of implementation
  • Combination of working directly with the vendors (IT or ERP vendors) for the small-medium clients, or working with the client's PM's (for the larger clients)
  • Technical PM: scopes everything, can handle multiple implementations at a time, overall the team may have around 25-30 implementations in flight, going through SOW and understanding it, putting a plan in place, setting up weekly touch points with counterparts, status reports, able to understand the CR (change request) and negotiate with the customer when needed
  • Technical aspects: the PM needs to be able to understand the SOW and product to put together a plan, 4-5 components in a project, development project bg as a PM
  • PM tools the team uses: Confluence, SharePoint, Jira
