Description
Kforce has a client that is looking for an IT Project Manager in the Doral, FL area.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of technical projects from concept through deployment
- Ensure their assigned projects are well managed and that the project goals are delivered via the established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)
- Ensures that the projects meet or exceed expectations regarding scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Manages relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Identifies risks and issues and leads the team to resolution and/or escalation
- Collects, measures, reports, and communicates project status with the project team and IT leadership
- Manages multiple high-dollar, high risks projects in support of IT infrastructure shipboard and/or shoreside
- Participates in strategic and operational processes while working with leaders from the IT and Business Teams
- Lead coordination and communication with internal and external teams during IT service transition
- Track the process to create and implement all the new SNOW processes
- Project/program teams include 20+ matrixed resources with a typical budget from $1+ million
Requirements:
- PMP certification or equivalent or 15+ years in relevant PMO experience
- 15+ years with Infrastructure Project experience
- 15+ years with Waterfall experience
- 10+ years managing large complex projects and/or programs
- Data Center move experience
- Candidates must reside in South Florida
- Onsite 1 day a week; Wed 10:00am-3:00pm (Can change based on policy)
- Minimum travel <10%
- Windows and Unix operating systems
- Cloud migrations to Azure, Google, and AWS
- Virtualization technologies such as VMWare
- Databases such as Oracle and MS SQL
- Storage technologies such as Dell Compellent, EMC VNX/Unity/Vmax, Veritas NetBackup
- Networking devices such as core switches, wireless controllers, satellites and/or wireless networks such Cisco
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
