Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will lead change control activities by reviewing, validating, and coordinating engineering changes across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program execution.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IT Project Manager Responsibilities include:

• Lead and facilitate Change Control meetings, ensuring Engineering Change Requests (CRs) are reviewed, prioritized, and progressed efficiently.

• Validate change request data accuracy and support engineers in developing high-quality CR documentation within WERS.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive approvals, release activities, and production readiness for engineering changes.

• Manage WERS C-screen and D-screen workflows, release intent activities, and required system documentation.

• Monitor change request status, aging reports, and program metrics, proactively escalating issues that could impact timing or quality.

• Prepare and distribute status reports, change summaries, and key program health metrics to support leadership decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience with Change Management processes and Engineering Change Requests (CRs), preferably within automotive or manufacturing environments.

• Hands-on experience with WERS, including creating and managing CRs, navigating C/D screens, and supporting release intent activities.

• Proficiency with Teamcenter and engineering release management processes, including production release coordination and documentation review.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
