Description

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a global retail company, for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their Austin, TX team on a hybrid basis. This is an opportunity to lead high-visibility technology initiatives for a company with operations spanning multiple countries, working across e-commerce, supply chain, and store systems platforms that touch millions of customers.

Day to day, you will juggle multiple concurrent projects, translate business goals into clear execution plans, and keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned from kickoff to go-live. Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through post-launch review
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and success metrics
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Coordinate across engineering, QA, infrastructure, and vendor teams to remove blockers
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and dependencies to executive stakeholders
  • Manage change control processes and ensure documentation stays current
  • Oversee UAT planning and coordinate go-live and post-implementation support
  • Ensure projects align with enterprise IT governance and compliance standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • 7 or more years of experience managing IT projects, ideally in retail or e-commerce
  • Proven experience leading both agile and waterfall project delivery
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project or similar tools
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party implementation partners
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets and multi-workstream project portfolios
  • Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX on a hybrid schedule
