This is a remote role that requires working EST hours. Candidates may reside in the CST time zone as long as they can work on an EST schedule.

The IT Project Coordinator sits at the intersection of technology delivery and corporate financial management. Unlike traditional operational coordinators, this role is embedded directly within the Finance organization. You will partner with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) and Technology Value Stream Leads to convert real-time agile delivery metrics and project milestones into highly accurate financial forecasts. You will own the data integrity of your assigned stream, utilizing tools like IBM Apptio Planning and Jira to optimize a multi-million dollar technology portfolio.

Key Requirements
Experience & Skills

•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
•Professional Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience working as a project coordinator, PMO analyst, or financial coordinator within an enterprise technology or corporate finance environment.
•Technical Platform Exposure: Practical experience tracking project deliverables via Jira, Azure DevOps, Clarity, or alternative PPM software.
•Financial & Core Math Literacy: Comfort working with budgets, tracking financial milestones, and managing Excel spreadsheets. Prior experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or Agile velocity models is a plus.
Competencies
•Systems Adaptability: Willingness and capability to complete intensive upskilling on IBM Apptio Planning and Technology Business Management (TBM) logic within the first 60 days.
•Cross-Functional Communication: Ability to comfortably engage with engineering teams on technical delivery details while summarizing the resulting cost impacts for finance specialists.
•Rigorous Attention to Detail: High standard of accuracy when handling large data sheets, system records, and multi-million dollar vendor statements of work.
